Content
DescriptionBushy lichen . Primary thallium scale-like, powdery to granular, homogeneous, grayish-green with mealy white media . Apothecia 4-8 mm tall, in the form of low subecious outgrowths with a short tapering leg up to 2 mm and a tongue-like flattened grayish-green upper side. The underside is orange-yellow to pinkish-yellow. Propagated both by spores and vegetatively [2] .
RangeIt lives in mountainous areas in old coniferous and coniferous-deciduous forests on mossy stumps of fir, spruce, on decaying dead wood, on the lower part of tree trunks covered with mosses, preferring moist and shaded places. In Russia, only in the southern part of the Far East . Outside the Russian Federation, the species is known on the island of Hokkaido ( Japan ) [2] .
Guard StatusIt is listed in the Red Book of Russia . It was entered in the Red Book of the USSR . Limiting factors are forest cutting, fires, environmental pollution, road construction in the habitat of the species [2] .
