The Central Park of Culture and Leisure of the Avtozavodsky District is a typical and, at the same time, unique object built in the era of Stalinist architecture of the 30-50s of the 20th century .
The boundaries of the park were determined in the framework of the project for planning the territory of the Avtozavodsky district in 1931. Prior to the start of construction on the swampy territory of the future park, mostly small natural green spaces were located: birch , willow , poplar . Initially, there was no separate decree on the allocation of any plot of land for the culture park. Its territory was formed during the general layout of the Sotsgorod microdistrict . [one]
