Gothenburg-Bohus ( Swede Göteborgs och Bohus län ) is a former flax of Sweden , which lasted until December 31, 1997 , when it was combined with the Lena Skaraborg and Elvsborg into the modern linen of Västra Götaland . The name Len came from the central city - Gothenburg , as well as the historical province of Bohuslän .
Bohuslän became Swedish in 1658 according to the results of the Roskilde Peace and was ruled from the Bohus Fortress (near the town of Kungelv ). Flax was formed in 1680, it included Gothenburg and some other parts of Elvsborg flax . The name Gothenburg-Bohus flax received in 1700, simultaneously with the transfer of the residence to Gothenburg, and lasted until December 31, 1997, after which on January 1, 1998 it was merged with Elvsborg and part of the Skaraborg flax called Vestra Götaland.
