Biography
Ismail Matar is a graduate of the Al Wahda Club . His first game in the 2002/2003 season was against Al-Jazeera , in which he also scored his first goal for the team and in the match. This ball equalized the score in the second half, but the joy was short-lived, since Al-Jazeera scored the second and the winning match. Matar continued his brilliant presence this season and scored 14 goals, he was also named the best young Emarathi player in the League of the United Arab Emirates and brought Al Wahdou into the United Arab Emirates Pro League, and won the Emirates Presidential Cup. He was the only player this season to score five goals against Mukhsin Musabakh , namely: two goals in the first round, two in the second round and a goal in the Cup final on penalties .
