Colletes alocochila (lat.) - a species of bees of the genus Colletes from the family Colletidae (Colletinae). South America ( Peru and Chile , at altitudes of 2400–4300 m).

Description
Body length about 1 cm; the width of the female’s head is 3.4-3.6 mm (in the male 3.1-3.3 mm); the length of the female’s head is 2.7–2.8 mm (2.7–2.9 for the male). The main color of the integument is black, the body is covered with numerous long hairs of black and whitish color. Biological features are not known, except that they were found on the flowers of the introduced alfalfa plant, Lucerne sowing ( Medicago sativa , Legumes ). The species was first described in 1956 by the Brazilian entomologist J.S. Mour ( Jesus Santiago Moure ; 1912-2010). Colletes alocochila is similar to the species C. nigropilosus and C. mastochila [1] .
