Content

History

Zyryanka was founded in 1726 [2] . In the 1868 List of Populated Places of the Russian Empire, the settlement is mentioned as the factory village of Zyryanskaya in the Tomsk District (2nd section) at the Taymenka River, located 104 versts from the provincial city of Tomsk . There were 7 yards in the village and 29 people lived (11 men and 18 women) [3] .
In 1893, in the village of Zyryanka, belonging to the Tutal volost of the Tomsk district, there were 6 peasant households and 26 people lived (14 men and 12 women) [4] .

According to 1926, there were 62 households in the village and 341 people lived (mostly Russians). The first-level school functioned. Administratively, Zyryanka was part of the Nizhnetaymensky village council of the Polomoshinsky district of the Tomsk district of the Siberian region [2] .

Geography

The village is located in the northern part of the Kemerovo region, in the southeastern part of the West Siberian Plain , on the right bank of the Kuchum River, at a distance of about 20 kilometers (in a straight line) to the southwest of the urban-type settlement of Yashkino , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 190 meters above sea ​​level [5] .
