Rules

The championship was attended by 16 clubs. From October 6, 2012 to June 23, 2013 they held a two-round tournament. The three worst clubs in the tournament left the top division.

According to the results of the previous season, “ Vassaman United ”, “ Bechem United ” and “ Tudee May Jets ” left for regional leagues, Amidaus Professionals , King Faisal Babes and Real Tamale United took their places in the top division.
