The Canadian Olympic Curling Trials 2001 ( English 2001 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials ; the tournament is also known as the English Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings - “Rokot Rings”, preceded by the name of the title sponsor of the tournament, Tim Horton ) was held in Regina ( Saskatchewan ) from December 1 to December 9, 2001 for both men's and women's teams. The tournament was held for the 3rd time.

The winners of the tournament - the best male and female teams - received the right to represent Canada as its male and female teams at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City ( USA ).
The tournament was attended by 10 male and 10 female teams.
Among the men's teams, the winners were the skip team of Kevin Martin .
Among the women's teams, the winners were the Kelly Lowe skip team.

Tournament Format
At the first, group stage, teams play among themselves in a circular system in one circle. At the second stage, playoffs , there are teams that took the three best places in the group stage: the first team goes to the finals right away, the teams that took 2nd and 3rd places in the group stage play in the semifinals.
