Android “Honeycomb” is the codename for the Android platform, intended for devices with a large screen size, in particular, tablets. It is no longer supported (newer versions).

Honeycomb debuted with the Motorola Xoom in February 2011. In addition to adding new features, Honeycomb introduced a new so-called “holographic” theme of the user interface and an interaction model that was based on the main Android functions, such as multitasking, notifications and widgets.
