Story
The sun of Rome and the sea of Tuscany are waiting for Maggie and her disagreeable daughter Summer, whom her mother took away from the States, saving from justice and the negative influence of her boyfriend. But not everything is so rosy here. Maggie unexpectedly meets her love from the handsome past Luka, and his eccentric mother persuades Summer to escape to Rome.

On the Rotten Tomatoes website , the film has only 16% of positive reviews and a rating of 2.2 out of 5 [7] , which generally characterizes the audience’s attitude as negative.
Variety author Scott Tobias accuses the screenplay of Josh Appignanesi and Cindy Myers of tired irony and far-fetched absurdity [8] . Browser Boris Ivanov characterizes the film Lemhagen as “a second-rate international rum, whose best scenes are not related to romance” [9] .
