Tanzilya Mustafaevna Zumakulova ( karach.-balk. Zumakulany Mastafany kyzy Tanzilya ; b. July 18 , 1934 , the village of Girkhozhan (now Tyrnyauz ), Kabardino-Balkar autonomous region , RSFSR , USSR ) - the Soviet and Russian Balkar poets. People's poet of the Kabardino-Balkarian ASSR ( 1982 ). Member of the CPSU since 1975 .

Biography
Born on July 18, 1934 in the village of Girkhozhan (now Tyrnyauz, Elbrussky District, KBR ) in the family of the participant of the Civil War in the North Caucasus, Mustafa Bashchievich Zumakulova (1898–1963). Childhood coincided with the Great Patriotic War .
In the years 1940-1944 she studied at the elementary school of the village of Girkhozhan. But after the deportation of the Balkar people, she continued her studies in Kyrgyzstan. Already in school years I tried strength in literature. The first poems appeared in print in 1954 .
In 1957 , at the end of the period of the thirteen-year deportation of Balkarians, she returned to her homeland.
In 1959, the first collection of poems, Kayada Gulle (Flowers on the Rock), was published. In 1961 she was accepted into the USSR SP . In 1968 she graduated from the Higher Literary Courses in Moscow.
Since 1957 she took part in the public life of the country. In 1989 she was elected a people's deputy of the USSR. She was elected a member of the Audit Commission of the USSR Writers' Union , a member of the RSFSR JV Board. He is a member of the Presidium of the Board of the JV of the CBD and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Writers' Union.
