Biography
Igor Alexandrovich Sherstnev was born on June 7, 1924 in the city of Yaransk, Yaransky district, Vyatka province .
Member of World War II . From January to February 1942 - shooter of the 19th Infantry Brigade. From March to October 1942 - the commander of the calculation of 82 mm mortar 107th Infantry Division of the Voronezh Front. In September 1942 he was wounded. From April 1943 to June 1944 he was a gunner-radio operator of the 1st Guards Don Tank Corps of the Bryansk Front, then - commander of an armored personnel carrier on the 1st Belorussian Front . In July 1944 he was seriously wounded and in October of that year he was demobilized.
In 1949 he was elected a member of the Kurgan Regional Court.
Since March 28, 1953 - Deputy Chairman of the Kurgan Regional Criminal Court.
Since November 29, 1960 - Chairman of the Kurgan Regional Court.
In 1970, relieved of his post at his own request [1] .
Igor Alexandrovich Sherstnev died on April 8, 2005 . He was buried in the cemetery of the village of Ketovo, Ketovsky district, Kurgan region [2] .
