The 1978 Dutch Women's International Drafts Championship was held in late April - early May 1978 in Arnhem .
The system is circular . 12 participants, the most experienced - Ef Newvenhuisen and Barbara Grass - they have this sixth tournament.
Barbara Grass won the fifth national title. Losing 2 points for the first time, the second was the 15-year-old debutant Petra Polman . For the first time, Siska Butter won bronze.
Arnhem - the next new geographical point of the championship, the fifth in a row.
