The son of Quentin Massey , studied painting with his father. Forced to leave his homeland due to the persecution of the Inquisition , Jan Masseis settled in Genoa in 1550 , where he became the court painter of Admiral Andrea Doria . The most famous work of Jan Masseys is " Lot and his daughters ", stored in the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels.
