Born in 1904 in the Stavropol province.

From the age of 16 he worked as a turner at a factory in Rostov. He graduated from the Don Polytechnic Institute (1929).

In 1929-1954 at the Rostselmash plant: designer, chief designer, chief engineer of the factory and head of the Special Design Bureau.

In 1954 he was appointed director of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Agricultural Engineering (VISKHOM).

He died on July 3, 1961 after a serious illness.
