Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Nerekhty River, 9 km south-west of the center of the settlement - the village of Ivanovo and 33 km south of the district center - the city of Kovrov .
History
At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the village was part of the Smolinsky volost of Sudogodsky Uyezd , and since 1926, it has been part of the Klyushnikovsky Volost of the Kovrovsky Uyezd . In 1859 [2] there were 20 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 56 yards, in 1926 [4] - 56 yards.
Since 1929, the village was part of the Dmitrievsky Village Council of the Kovrovsky District , since 1940 - as part of the Smolinsky Village Council , since 2005 as part of the Ivanovo Village Settlement .
