Biography
In 1944 he graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Havana . Gained fame in the 1950s thanks to large public buildings. In buildings, he combined rationality of plans with geometric volume plastic. He taught at his alma mater, professor.
Major Projects and Buildings
- The building of the Dental Society in Havana (1952-1954, jointly with A. Peres Beato and M. Rubio)
- The building of the Medical Center (1956-1958; jointly with A. Peres Beato and M. Rubio)
- reconstruction of the resort of Varadero (1959-1961)
- The town of builders (1960-1961, with T. Ascagno)
- reconstruction of the Palace of the Revolution (1964-1965)
- 17-storey experimental residential building (Malecon embankment, 1971, shared with A. Rodriguez)
- Leisure park named after V.I. Lenin (1972)
- Palace of Congresses (1979, with E. Asse)
