Biography

Born July 11, 1927 in Poland in the territory of modern Western Ukraine in a Ukrainian family. Member of the CPSU since 1960.

Since 1948 - on economic, social and political work. In 1948 - 1982 - a student at a factory training school, a mine blocker, a peat cutter, a loader, a carpenter, a tuner, a drifter of the Velikomostovskaya mine shaft No. 5, construction department No. 2 of the Ukrzapadshakhtostroy plant in Chervonograd, Lviv region, Ukrainian SSR.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 26, 1957, the title of Hero of Socialist Labor was awarded with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle."

He was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the USSR of the 5th convocation.
