Content
History
The village belonged to the princes of Vokonsky , and then to representatives of the Kaisarovs [2] . In the "List of populated areas of the Saratov province according to the data of 1859," the settlement is mentioned as the owner's village of Andreevka of the Atkarsky district (1st camp) near the Bolshoy Kolyshly river, located 14 versts from the county town of Atkarsk . The village had 27 courtyards and 262 residents (124 men and 138 women) [3] .
According to the “List of Populated Places of the Saratov County” of the 1914 edition (according to 1911), there were 40 households in the village of Andreevka, belonging to the Kiselyov-Chemizov volost, 271 people (145 men and 126 women). Great Russians prevailed in the national composition of the population [4] .
Geography
The village is located in the east of the central part of the region, within the Volga Upland , on the right bank of the Bolshoy Kolyshly river, at a distance of about 5 kilometers (in a straight line) east of the city of Atkarsk . The absolute height is 168 meters above sea level [5] .
