Svettsiems ( Latvian: Svētciems ) is a settlement in the Salacgriva region of Latvia . It is part of the Salacgriva volost . Located on the Svetupe River off the coast of the Gulf of Riga . The main highway A1 ( European route E67 ) passes through the village. Salacgriva is about 6.5 km away.

History
Svetciems was founded as an estate in 1638.
In Soviet times, the settlement was part of the Salac village council of the Limbaži district . In the village was the central manor of the Salatsgriva state farm [2] .
