H. Enevoldsen first attracted attention when in 1927 he defeated the ex-world champion Em in a simultaneous game . Lasker . [one]
The peak of sports achievements of H. Enevoldsen falls at the beginning of the 1950s. In 1950, Enevoldsen became the bronze medalist of the Danish championship. In 1951, he shared 1-3 places in the national championship with C. Poulsen and Hey. Pedersenom . In an additional match-tournament, Enewoldsen defeated Poulsen twice, but twice lost to Pedersen. As a result, Pedersen became the champion of Denmark, and Enevoldsen received a silver medal. New success came to H. Enevoldsen in 1958, when he, after a series of inconclusive results, took second place in the national championship, only B. Andersen was conceded ahead. In the Danish national team, Enevoldsen participated in chess competitions three times.
