M. Thomas Square is a city square in the historical center of Odessa , at the intersection of Italian Boulevard with Gymnasium Street .

History
Named in honor of the commander of the Red Guard in Odessa - Mikhail Thomas [1] .
In 2013, the city administration promised to carry out the improvement of the park. A playground was arranged.

Monument to Thomas. Installed in 1982. Sculptor M.I. Naruzetskiy, architect I.M. Bezchastnov. It was demolished in August 2016 as part of the decommunization law by decision of the historical and toponymic commission of the Odessa City Hall on December 4, 2015 [2] .
