Samir Brahimi ( Arabic: سمير براهيمي ; born May 17, 1990 , Algeria ) - Algerian boxer , representative of the lightest weight categories. Biography
Samir Brahimi was born on May 17, 1990 in the city of Algeria . He trained in Paris at the Paris United boxing club.
The first serious success at the adult international level was achieved in the 2007 season, when he joined the main team of the Algerian national team and attended the Pan-Arab Games in Egypt, from where he brought the silver dignity award won in the classification of the first lightest weight category.
In 2009, he won a bronze medal at the African Championship in Mauritius, became the bronze medalist of the Arab Championship in Mauritius, and won the bronze medal at the Mediterranean Games in Pescara .
In 2010, he won a bronze medal at the Golden Gloves international tournament in Belgrade and successfully performed at the home African Cup of Nations.
At the 2011 African Championships in Cameroon, he received a bronze award, reached the finals at the Maputo All-Africa Games , boxed at the World War Games in Rio de Janeiro and at the World Championships in Baku , where he was already stopped by the representative in 1/32 lightweight finals Of Uzbekistan by Jasurbek Latipov .
