History

The newspaper "Transbaikal Regional Gazette" was published in Chita weekly (until 1897, then 2-3 times a week) from October 1, 1865 to 1919 . The publication was published in two parts: official (in which official orders and orders were published) and unofficial (local chronicle, ethnographic essays, materials on the history of the region, obituaries and other materials). From March 15, 1917, it was published under the heading "News of the Trans-Baikal Regional Committee for Public Security" (No. 1 (March 15) - 79 (June 29), hereinafter - "News of the Trans-Baikal Regional Committee for Public Security and the Executive Committee of the Council of Workers, Soldiers and Rural Deputies" In 1919, several issues of the Trans-Baikal Regional Gazette were published , and from August 10, 1919, the Bulletin of the Trans-Baikal was published.
