Biography
He was born on September 19 ( October 1 in a new style) in Moscow in 1891 in the Old Believer family of Akim (Joakim) Trofimovich Kirillov (1866-1941). [one]
He graduated from the Moscow Imperial Men's Commercial College with honors, received a gold medal from the hands of the eldest son of A.S. Pushkin , Alexander Alexandrovich , Russian general, head of the school's educational unit. [2] Then he studied at the Commercial Institute in the department of local economy, after which he worked at the Moscow City Administration in the specialty he received - local finance.
In 1911-1912 he was a secretary and represented in Moscow the Old Believers magazine "Old Rus", published in Riga . The main problems of Kirillov's research are Old Believer ethics in the history of the development of capitalism in Russia. After the October Revolution , a series of articles on the problems of Old Believer education appeared on the pages of the Voice of the Church magazine.
In the 1920s, Ivan Akimovich moved away from church and public life and Old Believer journalism, devoting himself to economic science. He wrote many textbooks, scientific papers, individual studies. Since 1955 - Doctor of Economics (the dissertation "Fixed and circulating assets of the socialist industry (sources and formations)" was defended in 1954). For many years he worked as a teacher at the Moscow Engineering and Economic Institute. Sergo Ordzhonikidze (now - State University of Management ), was the head of the department of financing and lending to industry, professor. [2]
He died on January 1, 1974 .
He was awarded the Order of Lenin (1953).
