History

The village of Big Zagrivye , consisting of 20 peasant households and the adjacent village of Small Zagrivye , are mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [2] .

ZAGRIJE - the village belongs to the Office of the Pavlovsk city government, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 36 m., 34 g. p. [3] (1838)

Two adjacent villages of Bolshoi Zagrivye , consisting of 20 yards and Maloe Zagrivye , are marked on the map of Professor S. S. Kutorgi in 1852 [4] .

BOILER BIG - the village of Pavlovsky city government and Mrs. Trukhina, on a country road, the number of yards - 19, the number of souls - 65 m.
LITTLE BOILER - the village of Mr. Khanykov, on a country road, the number of yards - 16, the number of souls - 60 m. [5] (1856)

The compilation of the Central Statistical Committee described it like this:

ZAGRIJA BIG AND SMALL - the former owner's village, courtyards - 55, residents - 320; chapel, school. (1885) [7]

In the XIX century, the village administratively belonged to the 1st camp, at the beginning of the XX century to the Dobruchinsky volost of the 1st zemsky section of the 4th camp of the Gdovsky district of the St. Petersburg province.

According to the Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province in 1905, the village of Big Zagrivye was part of the Perevolotsk Rural Society, the village of Small Zagrivye was in Malo-Zagrivsky [8] .

According to the map of the Petrograd and Estland provinces of 1919, the village consisted of two parts, Big Zagrivye and Small Zagrivye , each of them had a chapel [9] .

From 1917 to 1920, the villages were part of the Skaryatinsky volost of the Gdovsky district.

Since 1920, as part of Estonia .

Since 1940, as part of the Estonian SSR .

Since 1944, as part of the Zagrivsky village council of the Slantsevsky district of the Leningrad region.

Since 1963, in the Kingisepp district .

As of August 1, 1965, the village of Zagrivye was the administrative center of the Zagrivsky village council of Kingisepp district [10] . Since November 1965, again as part of the Slantsevsky district. In 1965, the population of the village was 186 people [11] .

According to 1973, the village of Zagrivye was the administrative center of the Zagrivsky village council of the Slantsevsky district [12] .

According to 1990 data, the village of Zagrivye was the administrative center of the Zagrivsky village council, which included 10 settlements, villages: Vtroya, Zagrivye , Kondushi, Kukin Bereg, Mokredi, Otradnoye, Perevolok, Radovel, Skamya, Stepanovshchina, with a total population of 901 people. 650 people lived in the village of Zagrivye [13] .

In 1997, 776 people lived in the village of Zagrivye, Zagrivsky volost, in 2002 - 682 people (Russians - 90%), the village was the administrative center of the volost [14] [15] .

In 2007, 758 people lived in the village of Zagrivye Zagrivsky JV , in 2010 - 746 people, the village was the administrative center of the settlement [16] [17] .

The village is located in the western part of the district on the highway 41K-164 ( Slates - Three ).

The distance to the district center is 19 km [13] .

The distance to the railway platform Slates - 20 km [10] .
