Biography
Born on the eve of the Catholic Christmas in Paris.
He made his debut in cinema in 1962, playing a small role in Jean-Pierre Melville’s criminal drama “ Snitch, ” followed by a rather long break. The actor returned to the screens only in the 1970s. For many years, Naon was considered a strong second-rate professional, until in the late 90s the already middle-aged actor in his film “One Against All” was shot by novice director Gaspard Noe . The film was presented in Cannes in 1998, where it won the Mercedes-Benz Award, as well as a special award established by French journalists [1] .
Also known for his works in dubbing. It is in his voice that the manager of the tavern "The Prancing Pony" in the first part of the trilogy "The Lord of the Rings" and Lord Arnold in " Hunters on Dragons " speaks in French voicing.
Married to Elizabeth Weisman.
