Geography
This massif is located in the central part of the Sahara Atlas between the Ksur ridge from the west and the Ouled Nail ridge in the east [1] .
The city of Aflu is one of the highest mountain municipalities in Algeria , as well as one of the coldest, it is located at an altitude of 1426 m. About 35,000 people live in the Amur massif [2] .
