The winners of the championship were the Flims team ( Skip Binia Felcher ), who won the final team Aarau PwC (Skip Sylvanas Tirinsoni ). The Baden Regio Halter team (skip Alina Pets ) won bronze medals. [1] [2]
At the same time, the 2016 Swiss Curling Championship for Men was also held there.
Content
Competition Format
At the first, group stage, the teams play among themselves in a two-round circular system . The three best teams go to the second stage, playoffs , where they play according to the Page system : the two best teams, following the results of the group round, hold a match for a direct hit in the finals (quarter-finals or “1st team versus 2nd”). The losing team meets in the semifinals with the 3rd team; the winner of the semifinal goes to the final, the loser takes the overall 3rd place.
