Design
Power plant
On ships of the type, two vertical three - cylinder steam engines (triple expansion) with a total capacity of 10,900 liters were installed as power plants . with. and 4 naval coal boilers with a pressure of 19 atmospheres with a heating surface of 1679 m². The maximum fuel reserves on destroyers of the type were 158 tons of coal . Design speed - 30 knots at 320 rpm. [2] .
Armament
Destroyers were armed with 2 × 1 88 mm / 35 guns. Torpedo weapons destroyers consisted of three rotary 450-mm torpedo tubes [3] .

Upgrade
In the years 1922-1924. at the shipyard in Wilhelmshaven, several destroyers (T 151, 153, 155-158) were converted into tenders. The standard / full displacement of destroyers increased to 670/796 tons, respectively. Draft increased to 3.22 m. Instead of old boilers, oil naval boilers were installed. Cruising range increased to 3,500 miles at 17-knot speed or to 1,450 miles at a speed of 20 knots. The fuel supply amounted to 181 tons of oil. The old armament was replaced by 2 88 mm / 45 guns and two 500 mm torpedo tubes.
