Hajj Belheir (born May 12, 1977 ) is an Algerian boxer , a representative of the featherweight category. He played for Algeria's boxing team in the first half of the 2000s, champion of the All - African Games in Aruja , silver and bronze medalist of African championships, winner of tournaments of international importance, participant in the Athens Summer Olympics .

Biography
Haj Belheir was born on May 12, 1977.
He first made his name in the 2002 season, when he joined the Algerian national team and won the international tournament in Egypt.
In 2003, he visited the African Championship in Cameroon, from where he brought the silver dignity award, won in the featherweight category. He also boxed at the All-African Games in Aruja , where he defeated all rivals in the tournament bracket and won gold.
Thanks to a series of successful performances, Belkheir won the right to defend the honor of the country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens , however, he had only one single fight here - at the preliminary stage he met with the strong Russian Alexei Tishchenko , the future two-time Olympic champion, and lost to him with By 17:37 [1] .
After the Athens Olympics, Hajj Belheir for some time remained in the boxing team of Algeria and continued to take part in major international tournaments. So, in 2005, he won a bronze medal at the African Championships in Casablanca and reached the quarter-finals at the Mediterranean Games in Almeria [2] .
