Biography

Maria Andreevna Hadahane was born on June 6, 1933 in a village. Bohan, Irkutsk region. She studied in Kyzyl schools number 1, 3, graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology of the Irkutsk State University in 1955 [1] . From 1955-1968 worked as a researcher at the Tuva Research Institute of Language and Literature, teacher, head of the Russian Literature Department of the KSPI (Kyzyl State Pedagogical Institute) . In 1966, she successfully defended her thesis "The Formation of Tuvan Prose" at the Institute of World Literature. M. Gorky Academy of Sciences of the USSR [2] .

Creativity

She published monographs “Tuvinian Prose” (1968), “Literary Tuva” (1986), “Essays on Tuvan Culture” (2008). She co-authored the work “Tyva Council of Literatures ң Admission of Tolerance” (“A Brief History of Tuvan Soviet Literature”, 1975).

Compiled books "Tuvan folk tales" (1958), "Cliff at the sun" (1961), "Tuvinian proverbs and sayings" (1966), "A. Palmbach - a writer and a man ”(1967),“ Tuvan folk tales ”(1967),“ Tuvan fairy tales ”(1970),“ People of Tuvan theater ”(1971),“ Chonnu Checheni - Wisdom of the people ”(1976),“ Tuvinian folk Fairy Tales ”(1984),“ Tuvinian Fairy Tales ”(2000),“ In the Name of Man ”(2005),“ Circus Artist ”(2006).

M. Khadakhane wrote and published dozens of scientific and literary-critical articles, translated into Russian works of Tuvan writers O. Sagan-ool , S. Syurun-ool , M. Olchey-ool, N. Oorzhak, M. Kozheldey, B. Ondara and etc.

Released the novel "The River of Life" (2003).

In his writings M. Hadahane, analyzing the writers ’creativity, develops the ways of development of Tuvan prose. Being at the origins of Tuvinian literary criticism, she took an active part in the development of questions of history and current problems of Tuvan fiction [2] . She has created a number of bibliographic indexes, written review and personal articles on Tuvan writers in the History of Soviet Multinational Literature, the Short Literary Encyclopedia, the Great Literary Encyclopedia. Participant of all-Union, regional, international scientific conferences. Was a delegate to the III and VIII Congresses of Writers of the RSFSR . Her articles about Tuvinian culture were published in the periodicals “Theater Life”, “Literary Eurasia”, “ Soviet Woman ”, “Russian Writer”, “ Siberian Lights ”.

Some works of M. A. Khadakhane were translated into Altai, Yakut, Khakass, Mongolian, and Tuvan languages [3] .

Member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR (1962), Union of Writers of the USSR (1968), Member of the All-Union Theater Society.
