Biography
Khomushka Vasily Uurtakovich was born December 4, 1956 in the village. Hondelen of the Barun-Khemchik district of the Tuva Autonomous Region. [1] He graduated from the philological faculty of the Kyzyl State Medical Institute (1980), studied at the Higher Komsomol School under the Central Committee of the Komsomol (1983). He worked as a teacher at the Hondelen Eight-Year School [2] (1980), correspondent, department head (1981–1984) and editor of the district newspaper “Hemchiktin Syldyzy” (1984–1995), director of the Tuva Book Publishing House (1995–1996), and editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Shyn” (1997).
He was a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Tuva Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1990-1995), a deputy of the Supreme Hural of the Republic of Tuva (1998). He began his literary work in 1978. He worked in the genres of poetry and prose. The first poem “Hondelen” was published in the newspaper “Tyvanyn Anyyaktary” (1978). In Russian, his book “Secret Dream” (1997) was published by I. Irgit. Member of the Union of Journalists of Russia (1987), the Union of Writers of the Republic of Tuva (1991), the Union of Writers of Russia (1998).
