Kasym Abenuly Zhakibaev (December 12, 1929, settlement of Kargaly , Almaty region , KazASSR - August 8, 2011, Almaty , Kazakhstan [1] ) - Soviet and Kazakhstani actor. People's Artist of Kazakhstan (1996). Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR (1966). He played more than 300 roles on the stage of the Youth Theater [2] [3] .

Biography
He studied at the Almaty Art College (1944–48). In 1948-84 and since 1994 - actor of the Youth Theater (now the Kazakh State Academic Theater for Children and Youth named after G. Musrepov ), in 1984-1994 - at the film studio " Kazakhfilm ". The first role on the stage of the theater is the cat Basilio (Golden Key, 1948). He played the roles of Sarman, Zhakai (“Altyn Saka” and “Ybyray Altyn-Sarin” by M. Akinzhanov), Polonia (“Hamlet” by W. Shakespeare), Wurle (“Cunning and Love” by F. Schiller), Kairakbay (“Moldir Mahabbat” S. Mukanova) and others. He starred in the films "Dersu Uzala", "Otrar", "Station of Love" and others [4] .
