Temnothorax kaszabi (lat.) - a species of small-sized ants of the genus Temnothorax from the subfamily of myrmycin ( Formicidae ). The name is given in honor of the Hungarian entomologist Prof. Z. Kaszab [1] .

East Asia , Russia ( Altai , the Far East , Transbaikalia , Tuva , Yakutia ), Mongolia , North Korea [1] .
Description
Small reddish-brown ants (2-3 mm). The scape of the antenna is short. The head is oval-elongated, there is no methanotic impression, the hind chest is angular, with propodeal spines. Chest and head on top with a reduced sculpture. Antennae 12-segmented. Steppes and meadows. Nests in the soil. It was first described in 1969 under the original name Leptothorax kaszabi [1] [2] .
