Koroglu ( tour: Köroğlu Dağları ) is a mountain range in the north-west of Turkey between the Sakarya and Kyzylirmak rivers . The highest peak of the ridge reaches a height of 2 km 499 m. Koroglu does not belong to the Pontic mountains, but to the Anatolian plateau [1] . The predominant vegetation of the mountain slopes are fir and pine . Also in Koroglu there are ski resorts (Kartalkaya) [2] .
