Biography
He studied at the Leningrad Civil Engineering Institute (1958-1960, 1963). He graduated from the Institute. I. E. Repina (1982, qualification: art critic) [2] . He worked at the Research Institute of Design and Urban Planning , the NIPI of the General Plan [3] , then at the Russian Institute of Art History .
Professor (since 1998), Department of Foreign Art of the Institute. I. E. Repin professor , where he teaches the art of the Renaissance [2] .
Associate Professor, Department of Interdisciplinary Studies and Practices in the Arts of the Smolny Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences , where he teaches courses - Architecture: function, design, style; Introduction to the humanities; The origin of classical art; Seminar on classical western art. Among the problems and features of the courses: "polemic with historicism and large-scale doctrines in art criticism", "fundamentally eclectic methodology" [4] .
