Geography
It is located in the east of the region near the highway R239 " Kazan - Orenburg - the border with Kazakhstan " near the border of the republic, 4.5 km northeast of the village of Pokrovsky Urustamak , 15 km southeast of the city of Bavla and 20 km south from the city of October .
The population is 99 people (2010), mostly Russians.
History
The village was founded in the XIX century . In the old sources it is also mentioned under the name Dmitriyevka. Until 1861, residents belonged to the category of landlord peasants and belonged to the landowner E.N. Anichkova [1] .
At the beginning of the XX century. In the village there was an elementary school.
Until 1920, the village belonged to the Bugulma district of the Samara province . Since 1920, as part of the Bugulma canton of the TatASSR . From 08/10/1930 as part of the Bavlinsky district (except for the period from 02/01/1963 to 01/11/1965, when the district was abolished and the village was part of the Bugulma district) [1] .
