History
The village of Chuvash was founded in 1918. According to the data of 1926, there were 85 households in the village and 409 people lived (mainly Chuvash). The school functioned I stage. Administratively, the village was part of the Pokrovsky Village Council of the Abansk District of the Kansk District of the Siberian Territory [2] .
Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, west of the Aban River, at a distance of approximately 29 kilometers (as the crow flies) to the north-west from the village of Aban , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 218 meters above sea level [3] .
