Geography
The village is located 2 km north of the center of the village of Anopino and 13 km north of Gus-Khrustalny .
History
The village of Zhary was first mentioned in patriarchal salary books under 1716 [2] .
Seltso Opuchkino (Zhary tozh) in the second half of the XVII - the first half of the XVIII centuries was part of the Listvensky camp of the Vladimir district of the Zamoskovsky region of the Moscow kingdom [3] .
At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the village was part of the Morugino volost of the Sudogod district of the Vladimir province , and since 1926 it was part of the Arsamakin volost . In 1859 [4] there were 21 yards in the village, in 1905 [5] - 44 yards, in 1926 - 86 yards.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Zharovsky Village Council of the Gus-Khrustalny District , since 1940 - as part of the Anopinsky Village Council , since 1954 - as part of the Arsamakinsky Village Council , since 1971 - as part of the Vashutinsky Village Council , since 2005 - as part of the Municipal Formation “Village Anopino . "
