Biography
Mikhail Goldstein was born on December 4, 1853 in the city of Odessa; the younger brother of the pianist and composer Edward Goldstein [1] .
He held the position of privat-docent of St. Petersburg University (1891-1901). Elected as a professor at Kharkov University (1902). He taught physics in St. Petersburg gymnasiums. He was convinced that he was a Social Democrat . It was published in the Scientific Review , God's Peace , Russian Wealth , Thoughts, News and other publications [2] .
Goldstein posted a number of his articles in the Brockhaus and Efron Encyclopedic Dictionary and in Yuzhakov’s Great Encyclopedia .
Mikhail Yulievich Goldstein was killed by a crowd of anti-Semitic rioters in Arkhangelsk in the fall of 1905. He was buried on the Literary bridges of Volkov cemetery in St. Petersburg.
