Honore Joseph (Joseph) Dalmas ( French Honoré-Joseph Dalmas, ou Delmas ; died in 1829 in St. Petersburg , Russian Empire ) - French actor and musician of the St. Petersburg French opera, music engraver, printer and publisher, court supplier of books and opera repertoire. Also known as a writer, translator, one of the earliest translators of A.S. Pushkin into French . A prominent freemason of high degrees of initiation, a founding member of the United Friends box and other organizations of free masons in St. Petersburg, the author of texts of Masonic hymns.

The main achievement of Dalmas is the creation of “Troubadour du Nord” (Northern Troubadour) - one of the largest St. Petersburg music publishing houses of the beginning of the XIX century and the publication of the same-name music magazine - one of the first music magazines in St. Petersburg.
