Geography
The village is located 11 km north of the center of the village of Demidovo and 37 km south-west of Gus-Khrustalny .
History
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Yagodinsky volost of Sudogodsky district . In 1859 [2] there were 45 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 75 yards, in 1926 - 82 yards.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Oryol Village Council of the Gus-Khrustalny District , since 1935 - as part of the Illichivsk Village Council of the Kurlovsky District , since 2005 - as part of the Municipal Formation “Mezinovsky Village” .
