Irina Ilyinichna Nikolskaya ( December 27, 1943 , Ukhta ) is a Russian musicologist, polonist , doctor of art history, a leading researcher at the State Institute of Art Studies , Honored Worker of Culture of Poland [1] , who made a significant contribution to the study of the musical heritage of Karol Szymanowski and Witold Lutoslavsky , the works of Krzysztof Pend and Zygmunt Krause [2] .

Biography

Born December 27, 1943 in Ukhta.

In 1968-1972 studied at the Institute of Musicology at the Faculty of History, University of Warsaw .

In 1973 she graduated from the State Music and Pedagogical Institute. Gnesins . In the years 1973-1976. - In graduate school of the State Institute of Art Studies .

1973 - researcher at the Museum of Musical Culture. Glinka .

1974 to the present - State Institute of Art Studies.

1978 - defense of a dissertation for the degree of candidate. art history "Antiwar theme in Polish music" (supervisor L.V. Polyakova).

1987 - a one-month internship in Vienna , at the Institute "Science in the Service of Man."

1992 - defense of a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Art History "From Shimanovsky to Lutoslavsky and Penderetsky."

1995-2010 - Editor of the department "Music and Cinema" in the magazine "Salon Audio / Video".

1998 - a three-month internship at the Paul Sacher Musical Manuscripts Fund in Basel ( Switzerland ).

Long-term cooperation with the Polish Cultural Center and the Department of Culture of the Polish Embassy in Moscow. Organization and conducting concerts, lectures, holding press conferences and so on.

Work in the Admissions Committee of the Moscow Union of Composers (1990s).

Work in the Bureau of musicology section of the Union of Moscow composers.

Work in the Music Fund of the Union of Composers (1985-1995).
