Threshers :
- 1 - horse thresher;
A muscular engine (drive) is a machine driven by the muscular power of animals. A device that uses the pulling power of animals (horses or oxen) to move stationary agricultural machines, such as a forage harvester or thresher , or to pump out water. In this way horses , donkeys , bulls , dogs and people were used. This technique was used until the 20s of the twentieth century. Even in our time, some religious groups ( Mennonites ) do not use modern technology and therefore sometimes use muscle power to activate simple equipment. In a broader sense, a technique driven by muscular power ( bicycle , cycle car , muscle car , rowing boat , etc.)
