Biography
Born September 14, 1868 . He was a Catholic by religion. He graduated from the Vladimir Kiev Cadet Corps .
He entered the service of the Russian Imperial Army on August 30, 1886. He received his military education at the 2nd Konstantinovsky Military School , from where he was promoted to second lieutenant with seniority on August 7, 1887 and was assigned to the Life Guards Finnish Regiment with enlistment in the army infantry. Before being transferred to the Life Guards, the Finnish Regiment received the rank of lieutenant guard with seniority from August 9, 1888. After 4 years, on August 9, 1892 he received seniority in the rank of lieutenant , on April 9, 1900 - in the rank of headquarters captain , on April 1, 1901 - in the rank of captain . For 7 years, 11 months and 24 days he was a company commander. Seniority in the rank of colonel was received on April 18, 1910. As of March 1, 1914 he served in the same rank and in the same regiment.
He took part in the First World War . As of June 14, 1915 he was the commander of the 37th Siberian Rifle Regiment . He received a concussion, as a result of which on December 17, 1915 he was transferred to the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Minsk Military District . As of December 19, 1916, he was in the reserve of ranks in the same military district.
