History
The competition was created in 1992 under the name Coupe de France and organized by the French Cycling Federation . The main sponsor was Pari Mutuel Urbain . His calendar includes the most important French day races . The number of races may change every year. Initially, the Cup had two classifications (individual and team) in which the results of only French cyclists and teams were taken into account.
Since 1999, foreign athletes playing for the French team also began to take part in the individual standings. In 2002, a youth classification was introduced. After the appearance of the UCI Europe Tour in 2005, the Cup includes races simultaneously present on the UCI Europe Tour calendar and having the category .HC or .1 . This allows you to speak at all WorldTeam races, continental and continental teams. Since 2016, all riders without any restrictions are taken into account in the standings. However, in the team ranking, only French teams are still considered.
At the end of the season, three classifications are played out [3] - individual, youth (up to 25 years old) and team. The winner of each is determined by the highest total points scored.
Since 2000, a similar tournament among women has also been held.

In case of further parity, the results of the last race are taken into account. The final classification in descending order of points earned during the season.
