Grzegorz Tsybulsky ( Polish. Grzegorz Cybulski ; born November 23, 1951 , Nova Sol ) - Polish athlete , a specialist in long jump . He performed at major international competitions throughout the 1970s, a bronze medalist at the European Indoor Championships, winner of the European Cup, winner of the Summer Universiade in Rome , multiple champion of Poland, champion of the USSR, participant in the two Summer Olympics.

Biography
Grzegorz Tsybulski was born on November 23, 1951 in the town of Nova-Sul of the Lubusz Voivodeship . He was engaged in athletics in the club "Lumelu" in Zielona Gora , and later trained in the club "Silesia" in Wroclaw .
In 1972, in the long jump, he took the eleventh place at the European Indoor Championships in Grenoble and, thanks to a series of successful performances, won the right to defend the country's honor at the Summer Olympics in Munich , where he finally showed the twelfth result.
The first serious success at the international level was achieved in the 1973 season, when he first became Polish champion indoors and visited the European Championship in Rotterdam , from where he brought the bronze dignity award - he lost in the long jump only to the Germans Hans Baumgartner and Max Klaus . The following season, in similar competitions in Gothenburg, showed the fifth result in the same discipline.
As a student, he represented Poland at the Summer Universiade in Rome , where he beat all rivals and won the gold medal. In addition, this season at a competition in Warsaw, set his personal best, jumping to 8.27 meters. [1] .
Being among the leaders of the Polish national team, I was safely selected for the Olympic Games in Montreal - this time I could not qualify for the final stage and was located in the final protocol of the competition on the thirteenth line.
After the Montreal Olympics, Tsybulsky remained in the Polish track and field team and continued to take part in major international competitions. So, in 1977, he won a silver medal at the Universiade in Sofia , passing only representative of Yugoslavia Nenad Stekic [2] ahead. Also spoke at the USSR Championship in Minsk , where he received gold.
In 1978, he showed the fourth result at the European Championships in Prague , a year later at the European Championships in the premises in Vienna became the sixth. In 1979, he won the Polish Championship for the last time in the long jump and soon decided to end his sports career [3] [4] .
