Gregory of Pechersky (d. 1093 ) - the venerable martyr , miracle worker. He predicted to Pereyaslav Prince Rostislav death in water (which later turned out to be), for which he was drowned. He was buried in the Near (Antoniev) caves of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra .

The memory in the Orthodox Church is January 8 ( January 21 ) and September 28 ( October 11 ), when the Cathedral of the Reverend Fathers of the Kiev Pechersk Caves is celebrated, and on the second Sunday of Great Lent (the Cathedral of all the Reverend Fathers of the Kiev Pechersk ).
