Mackenzie, Arthur John

Arthur John Mackenzie ( Eng. Arthur John Mackenzie , February 5, 1871 - August 21, 1949 ) is a Scottish chess player and chess journalist. Three - time champion of Scotland (1908, 1909 and 1913). Repeated participant in international tournaments in Hastings . As part of the Scottish team, a participant in the chess Olympiad .

For many years he led the chess departments in the Birmingham's Daily Post and The Glasgow Herald newspapers. He collaborated with the latter for over 40 years. [one]
